From Advanced Engineering Days (AED) to International Geoinformatics Days

(IGD-2025)

 

Starting from its 10th edition, the conference has been rebranded as the International Geoinformatics Days (IGD-2025) to reflect its renewed focus on Geoinformatics. This change marks an evolution in the conference's scope, while continuing its commitment to academic excellence and international collaboration.

 

 

From AED to IGD: A Conference in Progress

 

9th AED – July 9–10, 2024, University of Tabriz

The 9th edition of AED was hosted by the University of Tabriz in collaboration with Mersin University, Turkey.

Dr. Khalil Valizadeh Kamran served as the executive secretary of the conference, which continued its tradition as a reputable international event welcoming contributions from all engineering disciplines.

The conference was indexed by major international databases and was officially recognized by the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC).

The conference was led by distinguished figures from the University of Tabriz: Dr. Safar Nasrollahzadeh, Dr. Jalal Shiri, and Dr. Sadra Karimzadeh.
